I’m running for City Council Place 1 in Conroe, Texas because results require accountability, commitment and the general knowledge of what is most important to the people of this city.

I was born and raised in Conroe and it is my responsibility to ensure it’s success for my children and future grandchildren. I can’t promise you I will change the world, but I will do everything I can to better this city.

Together we can lead this community into the future and be a role model for ever-growing cities across our state. My door is always open to your thoughts, concerns and suggestions.

MEET TODD

Shortly after graduating from Conroe High School, Todd went to work at his family’s business, Yancey Concrete. Immediately, Todd put his Texas work ethic and natural leadership skills to use. By 1985, he had already ascended to the role of Plant Operations Manager—a position he has thrived in for the last 35 years. For the last four decades, Todd has worked tirelessly for Yancey concrete, which most days includes starting his day before the sun comes up. With Todd running the day-to-day operations, Yancey Concrete became a cornerstone of the community and help lay the groundwork for the booming growth of Montgomery County. His teams’ work has reached every corner of Conroe, Montgomery, Magnolia, Willis, Spring, and the Woodlands.

He is the proud father of two children, Carter (24) and Sarah Beth (23), who both attended Montgomery High School and Texas A&M. Todd brings the same values to fatherhood and faith as he does to his work. His integrity permeates every aspect of his life, and his dedication to doing the right thing never wavers as he strives to be the best father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and Christian. Todd never misses a Sunday morning at the Lone Star Cowboy Church or an opportunity to share his faith with anyone he meets, either through conversation or by the example he sets. Todd values his family and his relationship with God above all else.

Todd was born and raised in Conroe, Texas and has been a resident of Montgomery County his entire life.
